RREALITYSELLER
DISCLOSURE TERMINAL
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Data methodology

How RealitySeller indexes, links and presents public financial disclosure records.

Source-first design

RealitySeller is built around public-source provenance. Indexed records retain available filing dates, filing types, identifiers and source URLs so users can inspect the underlying publication.

Normalization

Records from different disclosure systems are normalized into common concepts such as entities, filings, holdings and disclosure events. Entity matching is designed to connect related records while preserving the source identity of the underlying filing.

Institutional holdings

SEC 13F data is presented as periodic reported-position information. It should not be interpreted as a real-time portfolio or trading feed, and reported values are subject to the filing's methodology and reporting period.

Limitations

Public disclosure coverage is not exhaustive across every market or jurisdiction. A missing record does not establish that an event did not occur. Source documents remain authoritative when dates, amounts, ownership or transaction terms matter.
